I ordered this model although it is not "SWISS MADE" model of Invicta Venom. It Is only "SWISS". That means it made somewhere in far east using swiss movement (different to ordinary Invicta Venom models). It is clearly visible coz chronograph small dials are differently positioned. But that is the only difference of this amazon model. The rest remains the same. Craftmanship is exactly same I think. I can see no difference among this model and swiss made Venoms 5730 and 5729 I have here on my table right now. And I have to admit that amazon model is the most beautifull of all of them. So... If somebody likes this kind of watch do not worry to order this model. I m satisfied......

I bought this watch as a gift for my girlfriend. I have seen invicta before but never really paid much attention to them, but at the time of purchase the watch was a great deal. When it arrived I was very impressed, the pictures online do not due the watch justice. Although the diamonds are very small they still sparkle and draw attention to the wrist. The best feature by far is the brilliant mother of pearl face. The watch is solid, not overlly heavy, but enough so that it doesnt feel cheap. Additionally, the watch comes in a leather wrapped box.

the sturdy and easily operated band. Also the dial is easy to read, and overall it seems to be a nicely built time piece. One thing I want to comment is that don't expect to see a lot of "diamonds". Although the 12 diamonds are genuine, they are extremely tiny. The picture here shows that they are sizable, but keep in mind it's being magnified to much larger view. When I hold it in my hand, I had to look rather hard to notice the diamonds. I would say this is a fine watch one could wear day to day, but not a jewelry watch reserves for special occasion.

I had looked at many Tag watches before and the reason I ordered this one is because I couldn't get it in the store. When it arrived, I was only disappointed because it is the MINI LINK women's model - but having only seen it online I thought it was the larger ladies model. I thought it was the same size as the Formula 1 with the triple row of diamonds-bezel, but it's definitely not. This watch is delicate and small. Don't get me wrong - the watch is very beautiful and my Amazon experience was great. The price is also dramatically lower than the stores I dealt with. However, the watch is just too small. If you're looking for a small ladies model - it'll be perfect for you!

This is a very nice watch...a bit rugged looking though because it is thick. Ebel makes much thinner watches which I generally prefer, but this one is great for more casual wear. The diamonds sparkle against the black background, which is nice. The date and time change functions are difficult because you need a tweezers to unscrew the knob to a point and then you can pull it out to make the changes. Then you have to screw it back in. I like it, but generally prefer a thinner watch.

This watch is simply beautiful. It is substantial but not clunky. The features are sharp and distinctive. It goes with absolutely everything. It's sporty enough to be casual but is classy enough to wear with a suit. One caveat: potential buyers should know that the watch comes with an amazon.com warranty, not the standard TAG Heuer warranty. The price makes up for it, but amazon should make it clear that is not an authorized reseller.

The quality of this watch is beyond expectation, the picture does not do this watch any justice. Once you put this piece of jewelry on your wrist I promise you will not be dissapointed. I ended up purchasing this through a local jeweler in NYC after doing better on the price and receiving the international warranty in place of the limited Amazon warranty.

I've had it now for almost 2 months and other than changing the time for daylight savings time I doubt I will ever have to adjust it. It keeps time incredibly accurately, is really well made, and has a very masculine look. It really looks better in person than the pictures depict. I am very happy with it and would recommend it highly

I love the watch. has good weight to it. I coach so it is fine for hitting baseballs or to wear while coaching football. I was going to get an Omega Speedmaster but have decided to wait and purchased the Tag as an everyday watch. If you need something for everyday and are very active i would say grab this watch, even at $650 it is totally worth it. When i had a link taken out from my local jewelry store I got several comments on it and noticed they had the same watch for $1100.

It might look Sporty, but as you dress up from Casual to suit up, it goes along perfectly, very few watches has this versatility, which makes it quite attractive to wear it at all times. This particular model looks almost identical to a Rolex Submariner. It is an automatic watch (if you don't wear it for around 24 hours or move around enough, the time must be reset) with 21 jewel Japanese movement and has a see through back that lets you view the automatic movement. The watch has a large 43mm face and it has Mercedes style hands and Tritnite luminescence markings with a magnified date marker. It is water resistant to 200 meters (just in case any of you will go down that far).

The one pictured above has an oyster-like bezel (Omega style). The older (Series 1 or S1) model of the 8926 have a coin edge bezel like the Rolex Submariner. The bezel rotates. Invicta makes really attractive bands that have a nice weight. The stainless steel silver band and black face combination is very sharp and will never go out of style. I have an 8.5" wrist and the watch accommodates my wrist with room to spare. They come in the trademark yellow Invicta box with an Invicta pillow.

The 9937 is an upgraded model of this watch that offers 25 jewel Swiss movement instead of the Japanese 21 jewel movement, a sapphire crystal, an improved stainless steel band (even though the one on the 8926 is great), solid end pieces, a better magnifier over the date, a flip lock safety clasp and a large rosewood box instead of the yellow box that comes with this 8926.

The chest strap is snug and comfortable; the watch is unisex but for women with tiny wrists it might be a bit too loose; I myself wear it the tightest possible setting.

Aesthetically it looks great. It's not something that I personally would go around wearing all the time, but it's easy to read and the buttons are easy to use. The indigo is not ideal for when I'm running on the street in the evening since it lights up the numbers rather than the whole face of the watch, but this is a tiny issue.

Overall, fantastic product, and I'm so glad that something this well-featured is availiable at such a competitive price from Timex.

It's comfortable, easy-to-read, and looks great for both business and casual wear. It's also the lowest maintenance watch I've ever owned. Because it's solar-powered, I've never had to mess with replacing the battery. And with its atomic clock capability, I've never had to mess with adjusting the time, especially when Daylight Savings Time rolls around. When my wife and I spent two weeks in England last fall, I kept the analog set to our "home" time and used the digital inset for UK time (it is easy to toggle between different time zones in digital mode).

As far as comfort goes, the watch is very lightweight, and it's a joy to wear. Casio definately did a great job when they engineered the size, shape, look, and feel of this watch.

It sits proudly on my credenza in my study, so that I can see the watch whenever I want - and the wonderful memories it evokes. True, it does make a slight sound when rotating. However, for me it is a reminder to let my gaze wonder over to the watch, so the "noise" - such as it is - is a bonus.

The slow speed of the winder and the automatic "1-hour-on-and-3-hours-off" helps guard against overwinding. The choice of "clockwise" or "anti-clockwise" rotation is important - some automatics will not wind but one direction. Check your watch manual, your jeweler or the manufacturer to be sure.

It appears to be identical to model made by Garmin. Works well, although makes a humming or vibration type of noise when it rotates (similar to the hum or vibration of a cieling fan motor on low speed). Winder really has only two settings once you turn it on: either clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation. That's it. Unable to control the rotation speed with this model. Winder automatically rotates for 1 hour and then stops for 3 hours. I guess that's how they come up with terms "multi-setting" and "smart timer".

The design of this watch is absolutely classic. It is truly a "timeless" design for a digital watch. The best thing about it is the simplicity -- it is one of the few G-Shocks which doesn't have random circles which show the seconds, bar graphs, a bezel 2 inches off your wrist, etc etc. It's clean and simple.

As far as durability, I haven't taken mine off for over 6 months; it's been swimming indoors, at the beach, smashed against shelving time and time again (I'm a storeman), it gets run under hot water about 10 times a day for hand-washing, I shower in it, sleep in it, play with my kids at the park ... It is yet to show ANY visible damage -- absolutely amazing!

The buttons are fine to press. After setting the alarm, starting the stopwatch, whatever, it returns you to the time mode with a single button push. Again, there is no nonsense, like scrolling through 5 more modes just to get back to the time display.

This watch keeps great time and has all the important features for me; date/time on easy to read display, good illumination for night viewing, alarm, event timer and rugged design. This watch has performed great in the water as we swim a lot in the summer, both in pools and beach. Never a problem with leaking even after replacing the battery. Good seals!

The plastic face is recessed a bit by the movable compass ring. Looks like it is durable enough, no idea how easily it scratches. Will find out soon I am sure.
As for the watch functions. Wow. Amazing watch. It has a huge screen 1 1/4 inches wide and contains two layers of LCDs along with different colors, green for functions and blue for the compass. The time shows up in 1/4 inch numbers readable across the room (literally). Modes besides compass, barometer/temperature, altitude are Min/Max altitude and stop watch. Can have some amazingly small numbers and symbols for a watch this size. The P for PM is about the limit that my eyes can read. Lots of alarms. Easy to adjust pretty much anything on the watch, time, date, compass, temperature, etc. Luckily everything is changeable to degrees F and mm of mercury for us non-metric folks. Compass is a little jerky (1-2 second delay) and have not yet time to see how well the altitude setting works. Temperature seems to be sluggish in updating.
The background light is quite bright and everything can be read easily enough. Of course, with that much square footage of screen size, I can use it to find keyholes and such. Heh. There is a tip to light feature.

Super-easy to read at night too. The hands are polished stainless with glow accents. The shiny stainless hands are the brightest/flashiest looking things on the face and offsets the matte black dial nicely. The "Tag Heuer" name written at the side of the watch gives it a special touch. The watch is not too heavy too, very nice for a every day watch. Black is the best color of them! I gave my local chain the option to match or beat the price and they would think nothing of it. Oh well, their loss in today's economy. Invicta, style and quality, offer well-made watches at a very competitive price. It is an automatic watch with 21 jewel Japanese movement and has a see through back that lets you view the automatic movement. The watch has a large 43mm face and it has Mercedes style hands and Tritnite luminescence markings with a magnified date marker.

The bezel rotates. Invicta makes really attractive bands that have a nice weight. The stainless steel silver band and black face combination is very sharp and will never go out of style.

Invicta's 8926 is the dive watch that started it all - the watch that kept Invicta from going out of business - like other Swiss watch making firms did as Oriental made quartz watches flooded the shelves of retailers worldwide in the 1980's.

I would be shocked to find a better watch for under $100. Say what you will about Invicta, but for the money, the 8926 is one of the best values ever in terms of an automatic watch.

Review Invicta Men's Speedway Watch #9212

It is nice and heavy and has a gorgeous shine! The face is so classy. A great deal. All functions on the Speedway work as described, they are not the same as the Daytona and the fact is the Daytona would be the better watch for timing purposes.

This watch is very stylish. It has an elegant, stylish, classy, rich look to it that you might not expect from a thick, large watch, even if you have chicken sized wrist like me. It is heavy, but this heaviness is more of the "solid feel" heavy, not an overbearing heavy.

The product (tritenite) Invicta uses to illuminate in the dark dims rather quickly. This is the case with all Invicta watches as to date and I always take off a half to full point for that reason alone. This may not be an issue for you at all.

Review Timex T5G971 Sports Personal Heart Rate

The display is big and very readable even in dim light without using the indiglo. It works great even without electrode gel. I used to have to use electrode gel just to get them to work at all. This HRM gives me an accurate reading immediately and continues to do so as my heart rate changes during my workout.

I decided on the Timex T5G971 because I have always wore the Timex Iron Man. I have come to know Timex as a dependable and affordable sport time piece, and so far I am very happy with the heart monitor.

I wanted a wireless monitor with a large enough display so it was easy to read. The Timex met all my needs and at a very good price. I was a bit concerned because I have a 54" chest and a fairly large wrist.
